4. Long-term thinking and goals (1) Long-term thinking, by guaranteeing the basic rights of young people, through youth empowerment, to prepare competent, enterprising, creative, scientific and positive-thinking prosperous young people, taking into account the sensitivities of young age. Establishing the youth of the nation in a leadership role so that they can contribute meaningfully to the economic, social, political and cultural life of the nation will be the long-term thinking of this national youth policy. The main goal of this policy will be to qualitatively improve the role of the youth and their inherent potential to build a prosperous, modern and just Nepal by integrating them into the mainstream of national development.
